The Alamance Community Foundation provides donors with a flexible way to accomplish their giving goals, maintains a permanent endowment to address the community’s evolving needs, and encourages private giving for the public good.
The Alamance Community Foundation, founded in 1991, is a charitable organization dedicated to strengthening Alamance County for present and future generations through philanthropy.
The Alamance Community Foundation, working toward a vision of an inclusive, caring and vibrant community, will:
· Facilitate giving that improves lives in the community
· Maintain permanent, tax-advantaged endowment funds
· Partner with donors to shape effective responses to community issues and opportunities
The Alamance Community Foundation is currently a regional affiliate of The Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro, Inc. but will begin functioning as a fully separate entity on October 1, 2018.
